WXW proudly presents this second round match from their 2002 Elite 8 women’s tournament. This time it’s La Felina, better known around the world today as Gail Kim, taking on April Hunter. Like Tracy Brooks and Valentina, Hunter also received a bye into the second round.
Though Hunter certainly had the height and weight advantage over the much smaller Felina, she didn’t have the speed or quickness in her favor. Felina used her cat-like skills to out think and out-wrestle Hunter on a few occasions, but Hunter would answer back with some devastating power moves. Having already wrestled earlier in the evening, would Felina be able to compete with the much larger Hunter?
