This was Lacey's first defense of the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title, which she captured at "Volcano Girls" on 5/30 in Hammond, IN. The stipulations on the bout, which took place at the IWA-MS "One More Time" event, are Knockout or Submission only. Daizee and Lacey previously traded victories on previous events, including a two out of three falls match previously at this venue. After trading one fall each, the deciding fall went to a double knockout as both women connected with simultaneous Yakuza kicks, which resulted in a nasty black eye for Lacey. As a result of that, the Knockout/Submission Match was signed for this show. Both women show their proficiency for submission style wrestling in this match, which some considered the 2004 IWA-MS Women's Match of the Year.
