"Jade and Violet were next in the tournament, which was probably the weakest match of the night, but still not offensive by any stretch of the imagination. Jade was accompanied by Kelly Adams, who was like the ambitious hanger-on to Jade's, rule-the-school prima donna attitude. She even made Kelly hold her cigarette when she got into the ring, which Miss Adams swiftly passed onto a fan, causing Jade to berate her for getting rid of her smoke.
I've seen Violet wrestle a bunch of times, but usually they're in tag matches where she's not really the focus. To see her added to this tournament was a nice touch for someone who can draw in a crowd with her teeny-babyface-in-peril gimmick. Unfortunately, their match was cut short by a seriously pissed-off Cheerleader Melissa, who lamped Jade to cause Violet to be disqualified, then cleared the ring of Violet, demanding her Transatlantic Championship match against Jezebel take place at that moment. Never one to back down from a challenge, Jez was out in a flash, and what I thought would be the main event was taking place.
Melissa is scary. Not in a hokey kind of way, but like the Terminator. She stares straight through you, and causes your entire soul to wilt and die. Jez, as the plucky underdog, was in for a tough night.
And that's what she got. The match spent next to no time in the ring, with this one brawling all over the shop. Melissa's wheelchair swings into the wall got a good showing as well, with Jez's head bouncing off the glass partition between the regular club and the VIP area about seven times, then a few more on the other side of the room on the wall behind the podium. Jez had flurries of a comeback, which gave us all the impression that she was going to get revenge for the end of ChickFight 7, but by the time the match got back into the ring, we were hoping against hope. Melissa hammered her with a million forearms before the ref called an end to match to protect our plucky redhead's welfare. "
