Shimmer Women Athletes presents a special match with a little international flavor as well as another Shimmer debut as the Irish sensation Rebecca Knox took on Allison Danger in her first match before Shimmer fans. They seemed to love her right off the bat with her dancing her Irish jig around the ringside area. One fan even brought an Irish flag to show his support.
As the match began, both women shook hands as a sign of respect and both went to work on each other’s upper body trading arm bars and wristlocks. Danger certainly had to be on her toes this night because Knox is so fast and crisp in the ring. She’d switch locks and submissions before Danger could even blink.

Later in the match as Danger was coming off the ropes and Knox leaped over her, as she landed, she seemed to land wrong on her ankle and immediately collapsed in the ring grabbing her leg and screaming in pain. The referee threw up the “x” and more referees as well as other Shimmer officials came out to help Knox. Danger concerned for her opponents health, opened the ropes so officials could help her exit the ring. In a shocking turn of events, Knox kicked Danger and sent her flying to the outside of the ring. Knox then performed an Irish jig, confirming that she wasn’t really ever hurt at all.

Knox was out to prove why she belongs in Shimmer with the rest of the top female talent from around the world, and she would do WHATEVER it took. This was a very important match for Danger too as she is still undefeated in Shimmer action. Would all her studying and preparation for the match fall to the cheating ways of Knox?
