Shimmer Women Athletes proudly presents the main event match from their Vol. 4 taping event. Daizee Haze takes on Rebecca Knox in a highly anticipated match between the two. If you remember, Knox from Ireland made her Shimmer debut on Vol. 3 and pulled out a victory over Allison Danger in very controversial fashion and in doing so really showed the Shimmer fans her true colors. Haze wouldn’t stand for it and accepted this match when posed to her.
Having participated in the main event in each of the previous Shimmer events, Haze comes into this match with a lot of confidence and a lot of fans behind her. In fact she even takes a few moments to dance with a few crazed fans around the ring side area before the match even begins. Both are two of the most talented female wrestlers and the two are relatively the same size so neither had an advantage going into the match. As the match began, both matched hold for hold and move for move.
This was really a fantastic effort and match from the two. Both are extremely skilled and well rounded that this was a true “chess game” or sorts. The only question is which one would be unlucky enough to get trapped in a checkmate situation. Would Knox pull another stunt like last time to gain a similar advantage or did Haze study up and avoid situations like that? Would Knox return to Ireland with victories over both Danger and Haze in back to back Shimmer tapings or would Haze put a stop to that and prevail as she has many times before?
