Shimmer Women Athletes presents another exciting action packed match from their Vol. 4 taping event. This time we see Allison Danger take on Tiana Ringer. Neither was successful in their Vol. 3 matches so a win for either woman would propel them back up in the Shimmer ranks.
Ringer seemed to be the more timid of the two. Danger was eager and really showed her aggressiveness early in the match. She immediately took over on offense tying up ringer in various submission holds and locks. She seemed to be going for a figure-four leg lock on Ringer when Ringer used her leg strength and power out sending Danger flying across the ring. Like any skilled wrestler, Danger chose to focus on one area to work over on Ringer; the head and neck. Each time the two separated, Danger chose to immediately return to a side headlock and a take down and really continued to wrench on the neck.
In somewhat of a smart move by Ringer, after she was able to escape a headlock she slid quickly to the outside of the ring in an effort to escape another headlock takedown from Danger. Upon re-entry she was able to trap Danger’s neck across the top rope and using all her body weight, dropped to the floor, choking Danger on the rope in the process. Neither was willing to give up this match easily and both really need a Shimmer victory.
