At All Pro Wrestling on August 20th, 2005 what started as a simple tag title match quickly became a 4 way Elimination Tag Title match.

Billy Blade, one half of the tag team champions, "Immortal Fear", came out with Payton to announce that Immortal Fear would not be defending their titles due to an invitation, by the Prince of *&^@ing Darkness himself, to Ozfest (where his tag team co-champ Kayden was waiting for them). The original opposing team of Kyu Ketsuki and Great Tenchi were not pleased to have another "All Pro Ranger" title shot spoiled.

Commissioner Gabe Ramirez came out and made announced that since Payton wants to interfere in matches, she would have a shot to be in a match legitimately. Billy Blade would have to defend the tag titles with his VALET Payton in place of Kayden. This news obviously made it's way to to the locker room quickly as Johnny Larocca and his Mafia (Vennis Demarco & Chris Coiloni) came out demanding their title shot as well. Before a decision could be announced, however, Cheerleader Melissa & Tiffany of "Girls Gone Wrestling" also came to claim their title shot. Being a sucker for a good fight, Gabe granted the fans what they wanted… A four-way Tag Title match for the All Pro Wrestling Tag Titles!
