Both of these ladies are returning to the Elite 8 tournament in hopes of advancing farther than the previous year. While both competed, both were eliminated in the semi-final round.
With a very noticeable size advantage, April Hunter went to work immediately on Ariel pounding and kicking her. Apparently she had studied up on Ariel and knew that if she could keep her on the defensive side, it could prove more successful. That strategy didn’t last too long as the spitfire; Ariel was able to fight back with some chops in the corner and even a hard drop kick sending “Big Red” out to the WXW arena floor where they exchanged Irish whips into the crowd, literally.
