IWA Mid South is proud to present a match between two of the most powerful and toughest men wrestling in the United States today. Both are former IWA Heavyweight Champions and have a deep history together. Former friends now turned bitter enemies; BJ Whitmer takes on Danny Daniels in a grudge match that IWA fans are still talking about today.
Before the bell even rang, as Whitmer was making his way out to the ring, Daniels attacked him from behind and threw him into the audience around ringside. Whitmer crashed through the first four rows before crashing against the building’s wall. Daniels continued to dish out the punishment sending Whitmer crashing into the building’s walls several more times. The two battled all over the arena and even all over the merchandise table before the action was brought to the ring.
At one point Daniels dove from the top rope to the outside of the ring with a cross body crashing down hard onto Whitmer and his Manager Jim Fannin. These two pulled out all the stops for this match. Fans saw many innovative variations of well known moves. Whitmer had Daniels set up for a super-plex off the top turnbuckle. Daniels countered and delivered a beautiful side Russian leg sweep from the turnbuckle.
These two are some of the most talented guys working in the wrestling business today and to see them both showcase their skills in a match like this in front of an IWA crowd is something special to witness. A lot of pride and bragging rights are on the line as these two former friends battle in one of the hardest hitting matches featured on IWA Mid South’s 8th anniversary show.
